Nursing Program Application

Please note: If you are not currently a student at Redlands, you must fill out a standard application to be admitted to Redlands Community College.

Be sure to fill out all of the listed information to the best of your ability. In order to apply to the Redlands Nursing Program, you will need copies of your immunizations and have read through the physical requirements page to ensure that you meet all criteria.

All potential candidates for the Redlands Nursing Program are required to bring in any and all official transcripts from prior educational institutions. These should be delivered to office OE-117.

LPN transitioning students are required to meet the same application standards and requirements as traditional students.

In order to be considered for admission, you must submit all documentation by the deadline:

  1. All college transcripts (photocopy acceptable), career tech transcripts or a high school transcript (photocopy acceptable) or equivalent if applicant has less than 12 college hours.
  2. Proof of a “C” or higher grade in CHEM 1214 Survey of General, Organic, and Biochemistry w/Lab; ZOOL 2134 Anatomy w/Lab; ZOOL 2144 Physiology w/Lab; and MICR 214 Microbiology w/Lab.
  3. An overall passing score for the TEAS Nursing Admission test of 70% or higher with a minimum TEAS Reading subscale score of 68% must be taken within one year of the application deadline.
  4. A retention/graduation Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.75 or higher on academic work completed.

Nursing Program Application Period and Deadlines:

  • Generic Summer Admissions (apply between December 1 to March 1)
  • Deadline: March 1 by 5 p.m.
  • LPN-RN Spring Admission (apply between August 1 to November 1)
  • Deadline: November 1 by 5 p.m.

Applications received outside of the date ranges will not be reviewed until the designated time frames.
