Coach Paul Madzivire enters his 4th season as the head coach of the Redlands Community College Men’s and Women’s program in 2026-27. Since taking over the program in 2023, Madzivire has coached the team to two NJCAA Cross Country National championship appearances and produced Redlands first ever Men’s Cross Country All-American.
Coach Madzivire is a native of Harare, Zimbabwe. Madzivire earned a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Economics from Florida State University in 2015. He is one of the most decorated long jumpers in Atlantic Coast Conference and Florida State University history. Madzivire is a 1st Team All American in the long Jump, holds three ACC Conference long jump titles, ranks No. 13 outdoor, and No. 15 indoor on the Seminoles’ all-time top lists. He competed for his national team at the junior level and represented Zimbabwe at the 2010 World Junior Championship in Canada.
Skilled in coaching Cross Country/Track and Field, Madzivire has coached high school teams for both Men and Women, as well as a summer Track club for athletes training in preparation for college. Madzivire has a passion for supporting young people as they build their futures, building effective teams, and winning.
