Redlands Community College is seeking candidates to apply for the Upward Bound Tutor
position for El Reno High School. This is a federally funded, part-time position working
approximately 2–3 hours per week during the academic year (August through May). The
position provides academic support to high school students participating in the TRIO
Upward Bound program.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Tutoring students in Math, Science, and English
Supporting students in developing effective study habits and academic strategies
Maintaining accurate student attendance and progress records
Upholding all program policies and procedures
Serving as a positive role model for program participants
Qualifications include:
Must be a certified teacher in the state of Oklahoma or have previously held teacher
certification
Demonstrated dependability, leadership ability, and strong moral character
Ability to communicate effectively with high school students from diverse backgrounds
Commitment to supporting first-generation and income-eligible college-bound students
Experience working with TRIO or similar outreach programs is preferred.

Clery Statement
Redlands Community College is committed to providing a safe place to live, work, study
and visit. Part of this effort includes sharing information regarding the safety and
security of our campuses.
Redlands provides email notifications to all students, faculty and staff when a Clery
Crime occurs in or near Redlands Community College campus or any of its sites. These
notifications are primarily sent if the incident poses an ongoing safety threat as
determined by the President of the College or his designee. The act requires colleges
and universities to make “timely warnings,” known as “Safety Alerts” at Redlands,
to campus community members about specific types of crime if an ongoing threat is
believed to exist.
