Professor of Criminal Justice/Program Director - Full-Time position
Redlands Community College is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Professor
of Criminal Justice/Program Director position. This is a full-time, tenure track,
10-month position with a salary range of $55,000 to $60,000 per year with excellent
benefits. Position will report to the Department Head of Criminal Justice and Social
Sciences.
Responsibilities include: Teaching courses in criminal justice, overseeing curriculum development, managing
program accreditation, and fostering partnerships with local law enforcement agencies.
This position requires a dynamic educator with a passion for student success and program
growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach a variety of criminal justice courses, both in-person and online.
Develop and update curriculum to align with industry standards, CLEET requirements
and accreditation requirements.
Advise and mentor students pursuing careers in criminal justice.
Establish and maintain partnerships with local, state, and federal law enforcement
agencies.
Coordinate CLEET certified training opportunities for students and law enforcement
professionals.
Assist with program marketing, recruitment, and community outreach.
Ensure compliance with institutional policies and program accreditation standards.
Participate in faculty meetings, committees, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications include:
Master’s degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or a closely related field required.
Experience in law enforcement, corrections, or a related field is strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of criminal justice policies, legal frameworks, and law enforcement
procedures.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Experience with online learning platforms and instructional technology preferred.

Clery Statement
Redlands Community College is committed to providing a safe place to live, work, study
and visit. Part of this effort includes sharing information regarding the safety and
security of our campuses.
Redlands provides email notifications to all students, faculty and staff when a Clery
Crime occurs in or near Redlands Community College campus or any of its sites. These
notifications are primarily sent if the incident poses an ongoing safety threat as
determined by the President of the College or his designee. The act requires colleges
and universities to make “timely warnings,” known as “Safety Alerts” at Redlands,
to campus community members about specific types of crime if an ongoing threat is
believed to exist.
