Redlands Community College continues to attract students seeking a degree that prepares them immediately for the workforce or gives them a good foundation for pursuing a bachelor’s degree. Since the Summer of 2023, Redlands has seen a consistent increase in enrollment, including this Spring semester which has a total headcount exceeding 2,300 students for an 11.4% increase over Spring 2025.
“We are thrilled with another semester of growth in enrollment,” said Redlands President Jena Marr. “This continued increase validates our investment in programs and services that are providing much needed support for our students and leading to a stronger workforce.”
The college has implemented several initiatives to improve student success and accessibility. Enhanced student services include more free e-textbooks and course materials in several classes, reducing the financial burden on students while ensuring they have immediate access to essential learning resources.
Redlands has also strategically expanded and revamped academic offerings to align with industry demands. In addition to increasing technology degrees, such as computer science and drone technology, the college has restructured the nursing program to give students a conceptual learning experience, meaning they learn how each skill applies to patients from birth to death. This approach prepares students to immediately step in to provide care in the clinical setting with the supervision of well-trained nurses. These adjustments in our academic programs directly support Oklahoma's workforce development priorities.
As one of Oklahoma's top providers of concurrent enrollment opportunities, Redlands enables high school juniors and seniors to earn college credit while still in high school. The concurrent enrollment program, which increased 25.3% this semester, offers accessible pathways for students to accelerate their education and career preparation while reducing the overall cost of their college degree.
"Our concurrent enrollment program exemplifies our commitment to educational access and affordability," Marr explained. "Our Admissions and Advising team provides valuable support for high school students who are new to the experience or seeking an advanced learning opportunity. By allowing students to begin their college journey while still in high school, we're helping them build momentum toward degree completion and career readiness. "
Additionally, Redlands has strengthened partnerships with several technology centers, allowing students to combine block credit from technical programs with Redlands coursework to earn an Associate in Applied Science degree. These innovative pathways create flexible options for students seeking career-focused education. Graduates of this program can also seamlessly transfer into OSU Institute of Technology’s Bachelor of Technology in Applied Industry Leadership program, allowing students to save time and money while advancing their education and career opportunities.
The second session of eight-week classes begins March 23. Contact the Admissions and Advising office at 405.422.1417 or email Admissions@redlandscc.edu to enroll.
