Job Description

Redlands Community College is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Instructor of Nursing in the Nursing and Allied Health Department.  This is a full-time, tenure track, 9-month faculty position. The salary range for this position is $50,000-$55,000 with excellent benefits.

Responsibilities include:  Teach both classroom and clinical courses; ensure students receive a comprehensive nursing education that prepares them for real-world healthcare settings; contribute to curriculum development, student mentorship and institutional service activities; teach nursing courses and supervise students in clinical settings; develop and implement engaging instructional materials that align with program and accreditation standards; evaluate student performance fairly and consistently, providing timely feedback; maintain accurate records of student progress and submit required documentation; participate in faculty mentorship program assessment, and curriculum development;  and support student success initiatives, retention efforts, and academic advising.

Qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required and must be working towards a Master’s degree in Nursing; an unencumbered Oklahoma RN license and equivalent of two years’ full-time practice as an RN. Simulation certification and clinical rotation experience preferred.
