Adjunct Instructor for Biology - Part-time position(s)

Testing Center Proctor - Part-time position(s)

The Academic Center for Enhancement is seeking a Testing Center Proctor.  This is a part-time position working up to 25 hours per week. Responsibilities include: opening and closing the Testing Center, proctoring exams, maintaining test security, assisting professors with exam submissions, maintaining a quiet and distraction-free environment, and maintaining confidentiality. Bachelor’s degree in teaching core subject is required.  Desired applicant should have 1-2 years of teaching ACT prep, study skills, financial literacy or similar subject material, to high school students. Redlands Community College is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Professor of Nursing/Clinical and Simulation Coordinator in the Nursing and Allied Health Department.  This is a full-time, tenure track, 10-month position. The salary range for this position is $58,000-$60,000 with excellent benefits. Responsibilities include:  Teach at least 8 units in course subjects as arranged in one or more nursing specialties including Adult Health, Medical Surgical, Pediatric, Maternal-Newborn, Psychiatric, and Leadership Nursing; coordinate clinical rotations for the nursing program; coordinate the simulation experiences and update the simulation strategic plan; develop, update, and revise simulation policies and procedures; complete lab and simulation inventory annually and as needed; interact in an effective and encouraging manner with students individually and in healthcare facilities; participate in recruitment of students within the community in collaboration with other college departments; report to the Nursing Department Head of Nursing and Allied Health; promote the mission of the Department, as well as the College as a whole; maintain regular office hours and participate as a faculty coach.  Candidates are expected to serve on institutional committees, attend scheduled in-services, and attend professional development programs. Qualifications include: a Master’s degree in Nursing required and prior teaching and simulation experience is preferred. Simulation Certification preferred. Unencumbered Oklahoma RN license and equivalent of two years full-time practice as an RN. Working knowledge of curriculum development and program review. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with ACEN accreditation processes and inherent documentation. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with local area schools, and others in the community to support educational achievement. Experience in managing and supervising diverse personnel. Familiar with design and implementation of articulation agreements. Ranch Hand at Royse Ranch - Part-time position(s)

Redlands Community College is seeking candidates to apply for a part-time Ranch Hand at Royse Ranch. This is a part-time position, limited to working 25 hours per week at the Royse Ranch location.  Responsibilities include: arena and ranch general maintenance, painting, mowing and weed eating, fence building, operating farm machinery and equipment, general care of animals (i.e., feeding, watering, cleaning of pens, etc.), may include the use of some chemicals and hazardous products; must be able to work in dusty conditions; must be able to work in all weather conditions; other duties as assigned. Applicant must be able to lift a minimum of 80 lbs. (bale of hay etc.) in the course of their daily tasks. Skills, knowledge, and experience preferred: mechanical maintenance and repair; welding; chemical application; operate tractors with frontend loaders; operate zero-turn mowers; operate engine driven tools (weed eaters, chainsaws, etc.); cattle handling (gathering, sorting, loading, and administering medication and vaccine); tagging calves at birth without help; fence building and repair including electric, barbed wire, and cable; ability to drive pickup pulling a trailer and backup.
