Admissions and Advising Assistant - Part-time position(s)

Redlands Community College is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Admissions and Advising Assistant position.  This is a part-time, 25 hours per week position. The Admissions and Advising Assistant provides assistance to those who contact the Admissions and Advising Office and for the performance of general duties involving either admissions or other general office duties. Responsibilities include: reception and greeting visitors; answer questions and provide information to students, parents, or guardians regarding the application and enrollment process at Redlands Community College; assist students with applications and locating other supporting documentation as required or requested; data entry; communication with current and prospective students and general inquiries in person, via telephone, and via email; understand, maintain and utilize the Admissions and Advising Office filing system; open and process incoming mail on a daily basis, as well as handle out-going mail; participate in the organization of mass mailing projects and document tracking process; monitor and maintain the front office work and reception area; adhere to FERPA confidentiality guidelines as distributed by Redlands Community College; and perform other duties as assigned. Coach of the Beef Show Team - Part-time position(s)

Redlands Community College Agriculture Department is seeking qualified candidates for the position of part-time Coach for the Beef Show Team. This position reports to the Department Head of Agriculture.  Responsibilities include: serving as the Coach of the Redlands Community College Beef Show Team, maintaining the show cattle herd and the Royse Ranch beef barn, assisting with Livestock Fitting and Grooming class when needed, recruiting students for the beef team, selecting livestock shows to exhibit at, booking travel arrangements, traveling with the team members, preparing the show cattle for exhibition, maintaining good records of receipts and expenditures, and serving as a mentor to the team.  The Coach will be expected to maintain public relations and coordinate fundraising activities as well as maintenance of the cattle herd which includes, but is not limited to, practicing good animal husbandry, nutrition, herd health, and breeding.  The Coach will also perform maintenance of the beef barn which includes, but is not limited to, cleanliness, organization, and upkeep.  The Coach will be expected to maintain a safe environment for our students and visitors. Redlands Community College (RCC) is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Success Coach for the Native American Serving Non-Tribal Institutions (NASNTI) Part A Cooperative Grant position. This federally funded grant project is titled: Addressing Nursing Shortage in Rural and Tribal Healthcare and is a cooperative grant between Redlands Community College and Western Oklahoma State College (WOSC) with the position itself housed at Redlands Community College.  The grant is funded through September 2027. The salary for this position is $44,000.00 per year plus excellent benefits. Responsibilities include:  Managing remediation efforts for students in the nursing program and advising nursing student majors prior to admission into the nursing program; assisting nursing students in an effort to improve nursing student retention and completion, as well as passing NCLEX exams; coordinating with nursing faculty and department head regarding students; advising current and prospective nursing students; developing individual and group remediation plans and monitoring and tracking student remediation efforts; assisting with recruiting; and preparing academic plans for students. This position reports to the Director for the Native American Serving Non-Tribal Institutions (NASNTI) Part A Cooperative Grant and collaborates daily with the Nursing faculty and the Department Head of Nursing and Allied Health. Individual must adhere to the educational philosophy of the college, work in a collaborative manner with colleagues and professional peers, and participate in meetings that relate specifically to nursing department, advising, and/or grant needs. Qualifications include: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Education, Counseling, Healthcare Major, or related field; experience with Microsoft Office, virtual platforms such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams, and learning management systems such as Blackboard; experience working with disadvantaged populations; demonstrated knowledge of issues affecting academic potential of low-income, Native American, and/or underserved college students; ability to develop and coordinate curriculum and academic support programs for at-risk students; well-developed oral/written communication skills with ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations; ability to work and communicate with people of diverse backgrounds. Redlands Community College is seeking qualified candidates to apply for our Student Services Specialist II/Lead Recruiter position. This is a full time, 12-month, professional staff position. The salary range for this position is $38,000 to $42,000 per year with excellent benefits. This position is an exciting opportunity to apply your skills in a fast-paced, student-centered environment. The Specialist II will perform multiple tasks within the Admissions and Advising department. The Specialist II will design and execute innovative recruitment strategies and oversee and guide the student recruitment team, ensuring effective training and professional development to meet recruitment goals. Additionally, the Specialist II serves as an academic advisor with current students, helping them with their journey at Redlands and providing retention services and referrals as needed. Responsibilities include: ADMISSIONS AND ADVISING: evaluate and process applications; correspond with prospective students; and advise and enroll new, returning, and concurrent students. RECRUITMENT: design and execute innovative recruitment strategies to attract diverse student populations, leveraging both digital and traditional media. Oversee and guide the student recruitment team, ensuring effective training and professional development to meet recruitment goals. Establish and maintain relationships with high schools, community organizations, and industry partners to create a robust recruitment pipeline. Monitor and analyze recruitment data to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and initiatives, providing regular reports to senior leadership. Participate in recruitment activities including but not limited to: College and Career Fairs, Open Houses, High School visits, and Concurrent Student classroom visits.  Attend off-campus recruiting activities, possibly including overnight travel depending on event participate in college and career fairs, open houses, high school visits, and concurrent classroom visits; off-campus recruiting activities, possibly including overnight travel; and communication with prospective students. Director of Upward Bound - Full-time position(s)

Redlands Community College is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Director of Upward Bound position.  This is a full-time, federally funded grant position with excellent benefits. This position oversees all aspects of the Upward Bound program, which is designed to help low-income, first-generation students graduate from high school, prepare for college, and complete postsecondary education. Position reports to the Executive Vice President. The salary range is $53,000 to $59,000 per year based on qualifications and experience. Duties and Responsibilities include: Day-to-day operations of the project; program planning; monitoring; evaluation; compliance with federal guidelines; and preparation of all reports required by the U.S. Department of Education and Redlands Community College. This position is responsible for all aspects of a federal budget and has management oversight of both professional and support staff.  The director serves as liaison between target schools, target communities and the Upward Bound program. This position requires some travel and working nights and weekends for special student events.  Qualifications include: The applicant must hold a Master’s Degree in Education, Behavioral Science or comparable discipline; previous administrative experience in TRIO or similar programs; experience working with disadvantaged populations; be articulate with strong written and verbal communication skills; and have excellent organizational skills. Applicant must be able to ride on school busses with teenagers for long (12 to 16 hours) field trips.  Preference given to applicants with a background similar to the students served in the program. Redlands Community College is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Professor of Nursing/Assistant Department Head of Nursing and Allied Health position in the Nursing and Allied Health Department.  This is a full-time, tenure track, 10-month position with excellent benefits. The salary range for this position is $60,000-$65,000. Position reports to Department Head of Nursing and Allied Health. Responsibilities include:  Teach course subjects as arranged in one or more nursing specialties including Adult Health, Medical Surgical, Pediatric, Maternal-Newborn, Psychiatric, and Leadership Nursing along with an assigned clinical group; participate in assigned simulation times; assist with providing oversight of adjunct faculty in collaboration with the Department Head of Nursing and team members within clinical, laboratory, classroom settings; interact in an effective and encouraging manner with students individually and in healthcare facilities; coordinate clinical rotations; assist with compiling data and departmental reports; participate in recruitment and maintaining partnerships between the college and other organizations within the community; report to the Nursing Department Head; promote the mission n of the Department, as well as the College as a whole; maintain regular office hours and participate as a faculty coach.  The individual that is hired for this position will be expected to serve on institutional committees, attend scheduled in-services, and attend professional development programs. Working knowledge of curriculum development and program review. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with ACEN accreditation processes and inherent documentation. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with local area schools, and others in the community to support educational achievement. Experience in managing and supervising diverse personnel. Ranch Hand at Royse Ranch - Part-time position(s)

Redlands Community College is seeking candidates to apply for a Ranch Hand at Royse Ranch. This is a part-time position, limited to working 25 hours per week at $10.00 per hour at the Royse Ranch location.  Responsibilities include:  Arena and ranch general maintenance; painting, mowing and weedeating; fence building; operating farm machinery and equipment; general care of animals (i.e., feeding, watering, cleaning of pens, etc.); may include the use of some chemicals and hazardous products; and other duties as assigned.  Skills, Knowledge and Experience preferred:  Mechanical maintenance and repair; welding; chemical application; operate tractors with frontend loaders; operate zero-turn mowers; operate engine driven tools (weed eaters, chainsaws, etc.); cattle handling (gathering, sorting, loading, and administering medication and vaccine); tagging calves at birth without help; fence building and repair (electric, barbed wire, and cable); and ability to drive a pickup while pulling a trailer and be able to back it up.  Requirements:  Applicant must be able to lift a minimum of 80 lbs. Assistant Coach for Men's Basketball - Part-time position(s)

Redlands Community College (RCC), a member of the NJCAA Division 1 Region 2, is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Coach for Men's Basketball. This is a part-time position working up to 25 hours per week and may include housing. This position pays $7.50 per hour. The Assistant Coach for Men's Basketball reports directly to the Head Coach for Men's Basketball. Responsibilities include: Assisting the Head Coach in all aspects of the program, including but not limited to: 1) Recruiting - Coordinate campus tours, overnight visits and workouts. Attending High School and Prep Schools games and/or practices. Fitness Center Worker - Part-time position(s)

Redlands Community College is seeking candidates to apply for the Fitness Center Worker position(s).  This is a part-time position paying $7.25 per hour, working between 12 to 20 hours per week. The Fitness Center Worker is responsible for the safety and well-being of individuals using the Fitness Center facility.  Responsibilities include, but not limited to: being alert at all times of surroundings, preventing situations that may result in accidents or injury, keep facility and equipment clean at all times, report broken equipment or building problems, show members how to use equipment as needed, react to emergency situations.
