Redlands Community College has been named a 2025 Oklahoma Top Workplace through The Oklahoman’s annual employee survey. This honor reflects the college’s effort to provide a supportive work experience as well as a rich academic environment for not only the students but for faculty and staff.

“It is an honor to be named a Top Workplace because this recognition comes directly from our employees and reflects how much they enjoy being part of Redlands,” said Redlands President Jena Marr. “We have an exceptional team of faculty and staff, and I am proud of the way they support our students and one another. The work we do would not be as effective or meaningful without the dedication and experience our employees bring to the college each day.”

The recognition as a Top Workplace was determined through employee feedback based on a survey conducted by Philadelphia-based employee research and culture technology firm Energage. The survey measured several areas of the employee experience, including respect, support, growth and empowerment.

Under Marr’s leadership, the college has implemented several programs to support employees, including instituting a policy that provides financial compensation to employees pursuing degrees, establishing a Staff Association, creating a selection process to recognize outstanding faculty and staff each semester, and adopting a policy to financially reward long-serving employees.

“This recognition is a reminder that our work doesn’t stop here,” Marr said. “We are committed to building on this momentum by ensuring our employees have the support, resources and encouragement they need to thrive. When our people feel valued and empowered, they are able to do their best work for our students and our community.”
