Redlands Community College is seeking candidates to apply for the Summer Laboratory
Technician position. This is a part-time, temporary summer position working up to
10 hours per week from the anticipated start date of May 27, 2025, through July 17,
2025. Work hours must align with faculty on-campus availability and may vary weekly,
potentially resulting in fewer than 10 hours per week.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assist in the preparation of laboratory materials for microbiology and chemistry courses.
Support the update and maintenance of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and chemical inventory.
Organize laboratory spaces and assist with general lab clean-up.
Perform other tasks as assigned related to the Science Department.

Clery Statement
Redlands Community College is committed to providing a safe place to live, work, study
and visit. Part of this effort includes sharing information regarding the safety and
security of our campuses.
Redlands provides email notifications to all students, faculty and staff when a Clery
Crime occurs in or near Redlands Community College campus or any of its sites. These
notifications are primarily sent if the incident poses an ongoing safety threat as
determined by the President of the College or his designee. The act requires colleges
and universities to make “timely warnings,” known as “Safety Alerts” at Redlands,
to campus community members about specific types of crime if an ongoing threat is
believed to exist.
