Redlands Community College is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time, 12-month
Director of Institutional Accreditation and Strategic Academic Initiatives position.
The Director will collaborate with faculty, staff, administration, and community partners
to support the strategic planning and academic growth of the College. This position
reports to the Vice President for Academic Affairs.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Coordinating all institutional accreditation activities with the Higher Learning Commission
(HLC).
Assisting with strategic academic initiatives.
Coordinating grant development, grant writing and reporting efforts.
Serve as the college’s liaison with the Higher Learning Commission (HLC).
Maintain current knowledge of HLC policies and procedures.
Identify and develop grant opportunities to support academic and institutional initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree required.
Experience with institutional or program-level accreditation.
Grant writing experience at state and federal levels.
Experience in managing budgets.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.
Physical Demands:
Ability to sit for extended periods, move up and down stairs, crouch, stoop, and reach.
Lift up to 30 pounds.
Use computer monitors for extended periods.

Clery Statement
Redlands Community College is committed to providing a safe place to live, work, study
and visit. Part of this effort includes sharing information regarding the safety and
security of our campuses.
Redlands provides email notifications to all students, faculty and staff when a Clery
Crime occurs in or near Redlands Community College campus or any of its sites. These
notifications are primarily sent if the incident poses an ongoing safety threat as
determined by the President of the College or his designee. The act requires colleges
and universities to make “timely warnings,” known as “Safety Alerts” at Redlands,
to campus community members about specific types of crime if an ongoing threat is
believed to exist.
