Job Description

Redlands Community College is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Adjunct Instructor for Clinical Nursing position(s) for the nursing program. This a temporary position based on departmental needs and availabilities each semester.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Teach assigned clinical groups.
  • Participate in assigned simulation times or teach course subjects as arranged in one or more nursing specialties including Medical Surgical, Pediatric, Maternal-Newborn, Psychiatric, or Community Nursing.
  • Maintain communication with students and faculty weekly and as needed to report student progress.
  • Report to the Nursing Department Head.
  • Interact in an effective and encouraging manner with students individually and in healthcare facilities.
  • Promote the mission of the Department, as well as the College as a whole.

Qualifications Include:

  • Master's degree in nursing preferred and bachelor’s degree in nursing required.
  • One year minimum of RN level clinical practice required.
  • Prior teaching experience is also preferred.
