COVID-19 Information and Resources
We are continuously monitoring the situation concerning COVID-19 (commonly referred to as the coronavirus) and its potential impact to our campus community. We are committed to making decisions that promote the success and well-being of our campus community and growing concerns across the state. Like an increasing number of colleges and universities nationwide, Redlands Community College is taking additional important steps to provide a safe, learning experience for our students.
CDC Resources & Vaccine Information
The CDC's website includes information on How to Protect Yourself & Others as well as a Coronavirus Self-Checker. If you have questions about scheduling a vaccination, contact the Canadian County Health Department and follow its Facebook page for updates.
Face Coverings
As a result of Gov. Stitt's executive order, we will not be requiring masks but we encourage everyone to continue wearing masks in the classroom. If students are enrolled in a lab, they will be required to wear personal protective equipment as directed by science faculty. As stated in the order, nothing in the Executive Order should be interpreted to restrict a person's right to wear a mask in a state or public building. Individuals may voluntarily continue to wear a mask. We encourage everyone to get vaccinated, but vaccinations and masks are not required. Visit the state vaccination portal to find a location and make an appointment, or visit one of the local sites listed above.
