Assistant Coach for Men's Baseball

Redlands Community College is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Assistant Coach for Men's Baseball position. This is a full-time, 10-month faculty position with excellent benefits. Salary range is $25,000 to $30,000 per year. Position reports to the Head Men’s Baseball Coach. Responsibilities include: Assisting the Head Coach with recruiting, training, scouting prospects, scouting opponents, overseeing player strengths and position training, and coaching members of the baseball team. In addition, this position will be responsible for managing team communications, both official and unofficial visits, and liaising between designated entities within the institutional framework. Participation on institutional committees and events, including but not limited to commencement, is required. The successful candidate is required to abide by the policies and procedures established by Redlands Community College, Oklahoma Collegiate Athletic Conference, and the NJCAA. Qualifications include: Previous playing and coaching experience at the NJCAA level or higher. Minimum 3 years’ experience with recruiting, summer camps, field maintenance, team logistical operations, and team/positional coaching. Minimum 3 years as Head Pitching Coach at the college level. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required, graduate degree or graduate work is preferred.
