Undergraduates at Redlands get to be involved in conducting research. Plus, all classes are taught by the full professor: there are no graduate-student teachers.

Paying for Redlands

A college education at Redlands costs less than the Oklahoma state average for public institutions (based on cost per credit hour). For students planning to attain a four-year degree, completing the first two at Redlands can save you thousands.

Redlands Community College has named Kacey Daniels executive director of Student Services, leading a team dedicated to assisting and advising prospective and current students.

A first-generation college graduate and Redlands alumna, Daniels has been a cornerstone of the Upward Bound program at Redlands Community College, initially joining the program as an education specialist and then serving as the program director for the last seven years. Under her leadership, the program has flourished, making a significant impact on the academic and personal development of countless high school students.

"We are thrilled to have Kacey Daniels lead our Student Services team," said Redlands President Jena Marr. "Her deep understanding of the barriers that first-generation students face, combined with her extensive experience and passion for student success, make her the perfect fit for this role. We look forward to seeing the positive impact she will undoubtedly have on our students and our community."

Daniels, a Hinton native, graduated with an Associate of Arts degree from Redlands Community College in 2011, and earned a bachelor's degree and a master’s degree in Education from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. She is currently pursuing a doctorate degree in Education Administration and Leadership at Southern Nazarene University.

"As the director of the Upward Bound program, I had the privilege of cultivating a supportive and thriving educational environment that empowered students to reach their academic and personal goals,” Daniels said. “In my new role with the Admissions and Advising team, I am excited to continue this mission, working closely with both prospective and current students to ensure they have the resources, guidance, and encouragement they need to succeed at Redlands Community College and beyond."
