Redlands Community College is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Academic Advisor/Student Engagement Specialist for out Title IV Student Support Services (SSS) Grant.  This is a full-time position for a federally funded grant program, reporting to the SSS Project Director. The salary for this position is $42,000 per year with excellent benefits.  This individual will be responsible for providing quality academic advising and coaching for program participants.  Responsibilities include:  Short-term and long-term planning, such as semester enrollment, course recommendations for future semesters, and advisement on transferring to a bachelor’s degree program;  plan and implement student engagement activities (workshops, seminars, cultural experiences and events) to provide academic and social support to a targeted student population facing barriers in completing their degree; and track students’ academic progress and provide interventions when needed, with the goal of increasing retention and graduation rates for participants.  Required Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree is required; a minimum of 2 years’ experience in providing support services to college students from disadvantaged backgrounds and/or students traditionally underrepresented in higher education (preferably in community colleges); knowledge of occupational, career and academic assessment instruments; strong communication and organizational skills; proficiency with computer databases; documented experience in presenting workshops, seminars, small group and individual discussions, and orientation sessions; knowledge of college financial aid programs and application procedures; experience in providing academic counseling, career counseling and disability accommodations for college students; demonstrated ability to work with disadvantaged, at-risk and traditionally under-represented student populations; and a background similar to that of SSS participants. Peer Tutor(s) for NASNTI STEM - Part-time position(s)

Part-time student position(s) working up to 20 hours per week for a federally-funded grant program. The Native American Serving Non-Tribal Institutions (NASNTI) Stem (Part A) Grant is looking for tutors in all areas of Math and Science. Tutors will provide individual and group tutoring sessions designed to increase student mastery of concepts or applications of a specific course, integrate skills in effective study, learning to enhance academic success and provide general academic assistance in one or more science areas of study. Admissions and Advising Assistant - Part-time position(s)

Redlands Community College is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Admissions and Advising Assistant position.  This is a part-time, 25 hours per week position. Redlands Community College (RCC) is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Success Coach for the Native American Serving Non-Tribal Institutions (NASNTI) Part A Cooperative Grant position. This federally funded grant project is titled: Addressing Nursing Shortage in Rural and Tribal Healthcare and is a cooperative grant between Redlands Community College and Western Oklahoma State College (WOSC) with the position itself housed at Redlands Community College.  The grant is funded through September 2027. The salary for this position is $44,000.00 per year plus excellent benefits. Responsibilities include:  Managing remediation efforts for students in the nursing program and advising nursing student majors prior to admission into the nursing program; assisting nursing students in an effort to improve nursing student retention and completion, as well as passing NCLEX exams; coordinating with nursing faculty and department head regarding students; advising current and prospective nursing students; developing individual and group remediation plans and monitoring and tracking student remediation efforts; assisting with recruiting; and preparing academic plans for students. This position reports to the Director for the Native American Serving Non-Tribal Institutions (NASNTI) Part A Cooperative Grant and collaborates daily with the Nursing faculty and the Department Head of Nursing and Allied Health. Individual must adhere to the educational philosophy of the college, work in a collaborative manner with colleagues and professional peers, and participate in meetings that relate specifically to nursing department, advising, and/or grant needs. RECRUITMENT: design and execute innovative recruitment strategies to attract diverse student populations, leveraging both digital and traditional media. Oversee and guide the student recruitment team, ensuring effective training and professional development to meet recruitment goals. Establish and maintain relationships with high schools, community organizations, and industry partners to create a robust recruitment pipeline. Monitor and analyze recruitment data to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and initiatives, providing regular reports to senior leadership. Participate in recruitment activities including but not limited to: College and Career Fairs, Open Houses, High School visits, and Concurrent Student classroom visits.  Attend off-campus recruiting activities, possibly including overnight travel depending on event participate in college and career fairs, open houses, high school visits, and concurrent classroom visits; off-campus recruiting activities, possibly including overnight travel; and communication with prospective students. RETENTION: use an early alert case management system and provide referrals and appropriate interventions and supports; assist students with degree completion; and stay current with trends and best practices for student retention. Ranch Hand at Royse Ranch - Part-time position(s)

Redlands Community College is seeking candidates to apply for a Ranch Hand at Royse Ranch. This is a part-time position, limited to working 25 hours per week at $10.00 per hour at the Royse Ranch location.  Responsibilities include:  Arena and ranch general maintenance; painting, mowing and weedeating; fence building; operating farm machinery and equipment; general care of animals (i.e., feeding, watering, cleaning of pens, etc.); may include the use of some chemicals and hazardous products; and other duties as assigned.  Skills, Knowledge and Experience preferred:  Mechanical maintenance and repair; welding; chemical application; operate tractors with frontend loaders; operate zero-turn mowers; operate engine driven tools (weed eaters, chainsaws, etc.); cattle handling (gathering, sorting, loading, and administering medication and vaccine); tagging calves at birth without help; fence building and repair (electric, barbed wire, and cable); and ability to drive a pickup while pulling a trailer and be able to back it up.  Requirements:  Applicant must be able to lift a minimum of 80 lbs. Assistant Coach for Men's Basketball - Part-time position(s)

Redlands Community College (RCC), a member of the NJCAA Division 1 Region 2, is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Coach for Men's Basketball. This is a part-time position working up to 25 hours per week and may include housing. This position pays $7.50 per hour. The Assistant Coach for Men's Basketball reports directly to the Head Coach for Men's Basketball. Responsibilities include: Assisting the Head Coach in all aspects of the program, including but not limited to: 1) Recruiting - Coordinate campus tours, overnight visits and workouts. Attending High School and Prep Schools games and/or practices. Go to showcases in Oklahoma and Out-of-State. 2) Scouting opponents. 3) Game Day - Supervise game stats, coordinate filming and streaming games, pre-game roster certification, post-game equipment and gear verification. 4) Social Media updates. Redlands Community College is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Professor of Nursing/Assistant Department Head of Nursing and Allied Health position in the Nursing and Allied Health Department.  This is a full-time, tenure track, 10-month position with excellent benefits. Responsibilities include:  Teach course subjects as arranged in one or more nursing specialties including Adult Health, Medical Surgical, Pediatric, Maternal-Newborn, Psychiatric, and Leadership Nursing along with an assigned clinical group; participate in assigned simulation times; assist with providing oversight of adjunct faculty in collaboration with the Department Head of Nursing and team members within clinical, laboratory, classroom settings; interact in an effective and encouraging manner with students individually and in healthcare facilities; coordinate clinical rotations; assist with compiling data and departmental reports; participate in recruitment and maintaining partnerships between the college and other organizations within the community; report to the Nursing Department Head; promote the mission of the Department, as well as the College as a whole; maintain regular office hours and participate as a faculty coach.  Candidates are expect to serve on institutional committees, attend scheduled in-services, and attend professional development programs.
